Joshua Schultz founded The Bauhaus, a freelance art and architecture studio inspired by the avant-garde Bauhaus Movement of the early 20th century. A registered architect in New York and Pennsylvania, he previously led Southern California's first net-zero affordable housing project. Originally from Philadelphia, Joshua holds a Master of Science in Architecture & Design Research from Thomas Jefferson University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. His achievements include the Van Alen Traveling Fellowship, the Albert F. Schenck-Henry Gillette Woodman Scholarship, and the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design Scholarship. His research on building materials has been published and cited by leading journals and organizations, including the American Chemistry Council, Journal of Cleaner Production, Building and Environment, Energy and Buildings, and the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
